Invested™ Bahrain under the Rowad’s platform has been developed to support the overall ecosystem and be the foremost platform in creating an Investors community in Bahrain and in the region. Angels, VC’s and Investors are often the best resource for startups in the very early stages and bring with them not just seed capital, but also industry experience.

Invested™ Bahrain is an investor community platform established in 2016. The Invested Platform provides investors access to tools and knowledge to support them through their startup investment journeys. Invested has a growing investor population that includes angels, VCs, and corporates. Invested hosts educational events once a year targeted to current angels and potential startup investors as part of the aim to further develop the startup eco-system pillars.

Bahrain Development Bank hosts the fifth edition of Invested bringing together the startup and investor community to the region. Invested V is themed “The journey of an Investor” focusing on the different stages of the investment cycle.

The event will include sessions designed as workshops and panel discussions and will focus on the following topics:
• Understanding what, who, and where investors are investing.
• Identifying the difference between startups and scale ups.
• Building value to the startup depending on the industry and type.
• Mentoring and its power and the role of the investor.
• Understanding the principles of investment.
• Managing exit expectations- raising awareness for venture capitalists.

During the event we will also be offering the opportunity to schedule one on one meetings with fellow investors to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking through our new addition “Invested Scheduled Meetings”.  We will be circulating the confirmed list of attendees to those attending the event and allow each attendee to highlight top meetings they would like to attend and our team will be happy to support and facilitate meetings.
